TBD Monthly Round-Up

Things we are loving right now…

I recently read this article in Homes & Gardens about fragrance layering and it struck acord with me. I find that the memories that stick with me are always sensory in nature, typically visual but often enhanced with scent. Fresh floral in a house, a favorite candle, cookies in the oven or something of that nature. I love the idea of creating a layered fragrance story intentionally in my house by using a combination of diffusers, candles and room sprays to add that sensory note. My preference would be scents with geranium, bergamot or santal. I hope this article provides you some inspiration as well!

Wondering what we’ve been working on?

2024 was a year of planning, designing and implementation. We have a number of long term projects that are in the construction phase and are getting close to completion. Here are a few visual snipets that we are pretty excited about. Stay tuned for some reveals coming soon!

New and Noteworthy

We have been working on new product vendors this last quarter and more vintage product. Our goal is to build a new old home. One that is filled with beautiful, unique pieces that speak to the space and of the homeowner. We are also heading to Market this year in April and will be focused on bringing some special pieces back to the studio. We are feeling refreshed and inspired for 2025!

A Tip from TBD

The best tip for hanging art is to position the center of your artwork at roughly eye level, typically around 60 inches from the floor, which is considered the standard viewing height in galleries and museums, ensuring most people can comfortably see the artwork's focal point.

We start with the standard and then make adjustments based on room size, ceiling height and size of nearby furniture.
